Bunsen Flames
3/3/21
Yesterday we got to light the Bunsen burner up with a beaker on top of it. It got held up by a tripod It was really cool. You need to have a beaker and a tripod Bunsen burner and a heat proof mat so you don’t burn the table. And you need safety goggles then you need your hair tied up. Then you need to make sure you have cleaned up the Bunsen burner and the tripod then you put it into a box then you put the box back where you got it from. The safety flame had 70% then the second one had 82.2%.
Hi Jonte
ReplyDeleteA good description of what you did. Your results showed the blue flame produced the most temperature increase. We measure temperature in Celsius (symbol: °C).
Do you think your experiment was a fair test?
A good photo of a Bunsen heating water.
